The goal of today is to meet Wesley, the founder of cocktail creator in Naaldwijk. He is the mixologist who will compete with Baijiu cocktail at Perfect Serve Bar Show on 3rd, September. More than 20 sponsors of Nederlandse Bartender Club are supplying more than 20 different spirits to be used in the competition Perfect Serve Bar Show. The spirits are randomly distributed to each competitor by lottery. Baijiu is very funky drink compared to other spirits. I don't want Baijiu to become a burden for him as he is not familiar with Baijiu. I start my day by taking train from Utrecht to Rotterdam, then I following the route I did before to say hi to every single owner of the liquor store on the route, and finally arrive at Wesley's workshop near 's-Gravenzande.

I explain Baijiu in a very detailed way to Wesley, and we tried the long drink he created with Baijiu for the competition, and it tastes very good.

For me, what else can I do? As a cyclist, a sommelier, a distiller, I ride to Wesley, we discuss, we experiment, we try. This is all we can do, and the result will be merely grace.
